About hotel

The hotel is conveniently located in a quiet and environmentally pristine district of Saint-Petersburg within walking distance of Ploschad Muzhestva metro station. Any part of the city can be easily reached from this point.

Most of the rooms have been completely renovated: spacious rooms are equipped with everything necessary for a comfortable stay.

The hotel has 256 rooms of different category: Apartment, Suite, Comfort, Two-Room Standard, Standard, Economy and Triple economy. You will be able to find the best accommodation according to your preferences: a one-bedroom suite or two-room suite, with an optional balcony, a view of the street or of the yard, double or twin bed with an optional extra bed. All rooms regardless of the category are equipped according to all modern standards: with a separate bath or shower, flatscreen TV, telephone, refrigerator and bathroom supplies.

A cafe is located on the 6th floor of the hotel. Arbuz cafe serves buffet breakfasts in the morning. Lunches and dinners are also available as package menu.

There are two conference rooms in the hotel: a big conference room and a meeting room – both available for holding events. Free Wi-Fi Internet access is available on the whole territory of the hotel.

The guests are welcome to use the free parking, storage room, ironing room, guest computer and safe at the reception, table tennis and billiards.

Accomodation rules

The rules stated below establish the procedures of check-in, accommodation, and services provided by Orbita Hotel – branch of JSC "Slavyanka" Hotel Complex.

Official Check-in and Check-out Times

Check-in time is from 14:00 local time. Check-out time is at 12:00 local time. Upon the end of the Guests’ stay, they are expected to vacate their room by check-out time.

If a guest wishes to extend their stay at the hotel, they shall inform the administrator of the front office no later than 2 hours before check-out – 12.00 local time. In this case, the Guest’s stay in the same room can only be extended if the room has not been reserved by a third party.

Early Check-in and Late Check-out

In case of early check-in (from 00.01 to 14:00 local time) and check-out on the same day by check-out time (by 12:00 local time) – the guest’s fee shall constitute 100% of the 1-day accommodation rate.

In case of the guest’s arrival after check-in time and their check-out on the next day by check-out time (duration of stay under 24 hours) – the guest’s fee shall constitute 100% of the 1-day accommodation rate.

In case of early check-in (from 00.01 to 14:00 local time) and check-out on the next day by check-out time (by 12:00 local time) – the guest’s fee shall constitute a one-and-a-half-day accommodation rate.

In case of of late check-out, the guest’s fee shall be as follows:

  • check-out from 12:00 to 18:00 – 25% (twenty-five percent) of the 1-day accommodation rate;
  • check-out from 18:00 to 00:00 – 50% (fifty percent) of the 1-day accommodation rate;
  • check-out after 00:00 – amount of the 1-day accommodation rate.

The Hotel may deny late checkout to the Guest if:

- late checkout was not confirmed by the Hotel at booking,

- there are no vacant rooms in the Hotel.

Accommodation with Children

Accommodation for children up or to 3 years of age is provided free of charge. A baby cot is provided free of charge upon prior request.

Accommodation for children under or of 6 years of age is provided free of charge without an additional bed.

To accommodate adults or children over 7 years of age an extra bed is provided upon request. The fee for the extra bed is 1200 RUB, buffet breakfast included.

Minors under 14 years of age shall be registered at the hotel upon presentation of the documents certifying the identity of the parents (adoptive parents, legal guardians), immediate relatives, or other person(s) accompanying them; the documents certifying the power and authority of the accompanying person(s) to act as such, and the certificate of birth of such minors.

Minors between 14 and 18 years of age shall be registered at the hotel upon presentation of the documents certifying their identity only if accompanied by their parents (adoptive parents, legal guardians) or immediate relatives, or other accompanying person(s) in possession of a document certifying their power and authority to act as such (notarized Power of Attorney given by the parents (adoptive parents, legal guardians) of the minor).

In case of minors (clauses 6-7 hereof) are not accompanied by their parents (adoptive parents, legal guardians), or in case of person(s) accompanying them fail to produce an original document certifying their power and authority to accompany the minor, the hotel shall have the right to deny registration and accommodation at the hotel to such minors and accompanying person(s) even if their reservation was secured.

Terms and prices of extra beds

An extra bed may be provided in almost in any room upon prior request. Depending on room category, it may be represented by a folding armchair, folding sofa, or folding cot.

The charge for the extra bed is 1200 RUB, buffet breakfast included.

Check-in procedure and documents required for registration

Guests shall be checked into the hotel upon producing an identification document, which may be represented by one of the following:

  • Russian Federation Citizen’s Passport, certifying the identity of the citizen in the Russian Federation;
  • Certificate of Birth – for Guests under 14 years of age;
  • Passport, certifying the identity of the citizen of the Russian Federation outside the Russian Federation – for Guests residing outside the Russian Federation;
  • Foreign Citizen’s Passport or other document, established by federal law or recognized by an international instrument of the Russian Federation to certify the identity of a foreign citizen;
  • A document issued by a foreign state and recognized by an international instrument of the Russian Federation to certify the identity of stateless persons;
  • A stateless person’s temporary residence permit;
  • A stateless person’s permanent residence permit;
  • Refugee certificate;
  • A travel document issued to persons recognized as refugees in the Russian Federation in accordance with the federal law.
  • Migration card, visa valid for the period of stay in the hotel (according to requirements of the migration law). If officers of the hotel establish any violations in the periods of stay, registration within the Russian Federation, and other violations of the migration law committed by the said persons, the Hotel may deny accommodation in the Hotel to the Guest.

Guests shall fill out a form, accurately providing all required details in accordance with the document certifying their identity, sign the form in person, and state the date of its completion.

Minors under 14 years of age shall be registered at the hotel upon presentation of the documents certifying the identity of the parents (adoptive parents, legal guardians) or immediate relatives staying with them, or other accompanying person(s); the documents certifying the power and authority of the accompanying person(s) to act as such, and the certificate of birth of such minors.

Minors between 14 and 18 years of age shall be registered at the hotel upon presentation of the documents certifying their identity only with their parents (adoptive parents, legal guardians) or immediate relatives staying with them, or other accompanying person(s) in possession of a document certifying their power and authority to act as such (notarized Power of Attorney given by the parents (adoptive parents, legal guardians) of the minor).

Accommodation fee payment procedure

The fees for accommodation and services rendered by the hotel shall be charged in accordance with the pricelist established by the management of the hotel. The fees shall be charged in Roubles – in cash, via wire transfer under a booking contract, or with the use of payment (credit) cards. Guests shall be checked into the hotel only after the whole expected duration of their stay has been pre-paid.

PLEASE NOTE THAT GUESTS ARE REQUIRED TO PRESENT A VALID ID AND A CREDIT CARD USED FOR BOOKING UPON CHECK-IN. THE PROPERTY RESERVED THE RIGHT TO REFUSE ACCOMODATION IN CASE THESE DOCUMENTS ARE NOT PROVIDED OR NAMES STATED ON THE ID AND CREDIT CARD DIFFER.

Accommodation rules

Admission to the hotel shall be granted to its Guests by their guest cards. Upon check-out from the hotel the Guests shall return the keycards to the hotel’s front office.

Persons invited by the Guests may visit them in their rooms between 8:00 and 23:00 upon the Guests’ request and the administrator’s approval. In this case, a visitor’s pass must be issued by the desk administrator no later than 22:00 upon presentation of the visitor’s identification. In the event that a visitor remains in the Guest’s room after 23:00, such visitors shall be registered and checked into the Guest’s room or any other vacant room in accordance with the established pricelist. In this event, the Guest shall be responsible for the actions of their invited visitors, including the Guest’s accountability for damages caused by such persons, their infringement of –no-smoking rules, and/or refusal to pay for the hotel’s services.

Smoking at the hotel is prohibited. The penalty for smoking at the hotel is 1500 (one thousand five hundred) roubles.

Third persons must not occupy the room in the Guest’s absence. Transferring the keycard or keys from the room to third persons is prohibited.

Do not leave your valuables in the room.

Do not disturb other guests of the hotel. Please maintain peace and quiet.

Turn down TV and radio volume after 23:00.

Keeping animals, birds, reptiles or other pets in the hotel room is prohibited.

Bringing or storing bulky, explosive, flammable, toxic, or narcotic items in the room is prohibited.

When leaving the room, please make sure to close the water taps, windows, and turn off all electrical appliances.

The hotel shall not be held responsible for city utility services (emergency outages of power, heat, or water supply).

Bedlinen change schedule:

  • Luxury rooms – daily;
  • Standard rooms – once in 3 days;
  • Third-category rooms – once in 5 days.

The hotel shall have the right to terminate the Hotel Services Contract at their own discretion, or to deny extension of accommodation period, or to check-out a Guest in the event of infringement by the latter or their invited visitors of the Rules stated herein, their failure to pay for the Hotel’s services as required, or their causing damages to the Hotel and/or third persons on the premises of the Hotel.

In accordance with the law of the Russian Federation, the Guest shall be held accountable for causing material damages to hotel property in accordance with the pricelist currently established by the Hotel at the time of the claim. This includes the damages to life and health of the staff, and infringement of the no-smoking rule.

In case of such damages, they shall be repaid before the Guest checks out of the hotel.

In case of smoke, fire, or flood, Hotel administration shall have the right to visit the room without notifying the guest. This right extends to events of infringement by the Guest of the accommodation rules, disturbance of peace, violation of instructions for use of electrical appliances, and to events when there is reason to believe that the Guest may be in need of emergency medical assistance.

In case of complaints on the part of the guests, Hotel administration shall apply all reasonable efforts to resolve the conflict, as provided by the law of the Russian Federation.

Terms and guarantees

Confidentiality and security

The management of Orbita Hotel cares about their guests’ safety and comfort. An acting team of safety personnel is in charge of security at the hotel. Public areas of the hotel are under 24-hour video surveillance. A free safe at the reception desk and a free secure storage room are available for the guests to use.

Guests traveling incognito may notify the administrator upon arrival and their stay at the hotel will remain confidential.

The guests’ personal data is processed by Hotel Orbita in accordance with Federal Law 152 "On personal data" and strictly observes its provisions. This allows our guests to be reassured that the data required for their registration is well secured and will not be used by third parties.

We request our guests to observe the fire safety regulations and accommodation rules during their stay at the hotel.

Reservation

A reservation shall be deemed secured if

  • The guest pre-paid for their stay by cash, bank card or via wire transfer.
  • The hotel authorized the guest’s bank card.
  • The party ordering the hotel services provided a valid Letter of Indemnity with the organisation’s official letterhead.

In this case, the hotel will be expecting the guest up to 12:00 on the following day after their scheduled arrival. In the event of late cancellation of the Guest’s reservation (less than 24 hours before scheduled check-in), their delayed arrival or no-show, the amount of the 1-day accommodation rate will be charged from them or the ordering party for idle reservation of the room (bed). In the event that the guest is late for more than 24 hours, their secured reservation will be cancelled.

In all other cases, reservations shall be deemed unsecured.

For unsecured reservations the hotel shall expect the guest before 18:00 local time on the day of the scheduled arrival, after which their reservation will be cancelled. In the event of such delay, accommodation may be provided to the Guest on standard conditions, subject to room availability.

A reservation shall be deemed valid upon notification of the Guest (or the party ordering the hotel’s services) by the hotel including information regarding the reserved room’s category (type), price, booking conditions, and period of accommodation. The Guest (or the party ordering the hotel’s services) shall have the right to cancel their booking request in the manner and within the period specified in the Hotel’s confirmation of the reservation.

Rate types and cancellation procedure

The official open price list of the Hotel is publicly available.

1. Best available rate – best rate available on the date of the reservation. This may be either an open or a discounted rate.

A room reservation may be cancelled with no delay damages no later than 24 hours before the date of arrival. In the event of no-show or cancellation of a room reservation less than 24 hours before arrival, the delay damage shall constitute 100% of the price for the first night of accommodation.

2. Non-refundable rate – a rate with the maximum discount available on the date of the reservation.

This rate is available only under the condition of 100% advance payment. The reservation shall be deemed effective only after it has been fully pre-paid. In the event of no-show or change of the reservation details (dates of accommodation, room category, number of guests etc.), the pre-paid amount shall be non-refundable.
